Huge moment for the community—Arianna Lint, founder and CEO of Arianna’s Center, is gracing the cover of People en Español! The article, titled “I Beat the HIV Stigma,” shares Arianna’s powerful journey: leaving Peru to live her truth in the U.S., being diagnosed with HIV at 33, and deciding to turn that challenge into purpose.
“When someone is diagnosed with HIV, it’s best to forget about who it was, how and when… The important thing is digesting it, working through it the best way you can, and building a life,” she shares in the interview.
Today, Arianna is 52, a proud trans Latina, lawyer, and activist who’s spent the past decade creating real change through Arianna’s Center—a nonprofit she founded to empower trans women in Florida and Puerto Rico. The organization offers support in healthcare, housing, employment, and legal advocacy, with a mission rooted in dignity, equity, and visibility.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Arianna’s Center—a milestone that reflects not just growth, but the impact of a community led by love, purpose, and resilience.
